Cluj Arena is one of the most modern stadiums in Romania, rated as a UEFA Elite category stadium. CONA executed the construction of stand 1, the metal structure of the roofing, the building envelope, exterior landscaping works, and external installations – lighting and plumbing. The roofing system of the stands is designed as four concave coverings, symmetrically two by two. The envelope is made of sheet metal processed in various forms, either large interwoven strips or regulated surfaces with a gill-like appearance.

The finely perforated sheet used in different areas of the envelope allows light to penetrate during the day, and for events scheduled in the evening, the stadium becomes the largest luminous body in the city.
