Project Manager

  • Department: TECHNICAL

    Construction sites across the country Sibiu

Role Description:

The project manager acts as the interface between the client and the general contractor for all issues related to the contract execution; 

  • Monitors the project progress, objectives, and construction during the execution phase, ensuring compliance with contractual clauses; 
  • Directly involved in evaluating and selecting potential external service providers; 
  • Issues requests for proposals to specialized subcontractors;

Objective:

Mechanical Installations Project Manager

Quality Manager

Objective:

Ensuring the quality of construction works on 2-3 or more sites, at the level of quality requirements stipulated by Law no. 10/1995 on construction quality and Government Decision no. 925/1995 for the approval of the Regulation for verification and technical quality expertise of projects, execution of works, and constructions. 

Role Description:

The Quality Manager will be responsible for achieving the qualitative level of works stipulated in the projects, specifications, and in the technical regulations in constructions that are in force at the time of the works execution. The responsibilities and duties include: 

  • Allowing the execution of construction works only based on projects and execution details verified by certified project specialists. 
  • Ensuring the construction is carried out in accordance with the provisions of the construction permit, projects, specifications, and current technical regulations. 
  • Prohibiting the use of construction products without a performance/ conformity declaration or technical approval in construction, as appropriate, documents prepared under the law. 
  • Verifying compliance with execution technologies. 
  • Verifying compliance with legal provisions in case of technical solution changes during execution and ensuring these are made based on the site disposition verified by project verifiers/certified experts and are adopted by the contractor. 
  • Stopping the execution of construction works in case of severe quality defects or deviations from the execution project provisions and allowing the resumption of works only after rectifying them. 
  • The obligation to report monthly the quality progress for the sites under verification.

Installation Engineer – Execution

Objective:

To coordinate the execution activities of installation works on the construction site. 

Role Description:

  • Checks the documentation provided for the project realization, both from a technical perspective (solutions and quantities of materials) and financial; 
  • Prepares the execution schedule of the work. During the project, updates the execution schedule based on the reality of the construction site and coordination meetings; 
  • Provides assistance and supervises the teams on-site to carry out installations in accordance with the documentation; 
  • Provides technical support/solutions to the teams on-site; 
  • Participates in all site meetings; 
  • Checks daily the progress of the works, as well as the work reports of the execution teams;

  • Monitoring and following the application of current legislative regulations regarding Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) and Fire Safety and Prevention (PSI); 
  • Implementing the intervention plan for Fire Prevention and Extinguishing at the allocated site;
