CON-A owns the largest integrated industrial production center in Romania. 

Metal construction factory

CON-A’s metal construction factory began its operations in 2006, initially operating in Sibiu, on Frigoriferului Street no. 6. 

Due to the increasing demand on the market for this type of product, the factory was included in a strong investment program and relocated to Mârșa starting with 2016. Currently, the production takes place on an area of over 20,000 sqm.

The factory can execute projects ranging from the simplest to those with a high degree of complexity. The applied machining technology guarantees a high standard of safety and quality of products, the machinery and equipment components are state-of-the-art, and the entire production process is automated and computerized. The average production capacity is 10,000 tons/year.

Types of products made: 

  • Structural elements: columns, beams, panels; 
  • Closure elements: facade structures; 
  • Beams and columns for high-rise buildings (15-20 levels), for hotels and administrative buildings; 
  • Embedded elements; 
  • Beams and substructures for buildings intended for production, commercial, socio-cultural, sports activities, as well as storage spaces and garages; 
  • Beams and metal decks for bridges and viaducts. 

Precast concrete factory

The precast factory for reinforced and prestressed concrete products was established in 2008. Continuous investments resulted in a production unit equipped with high-standard technological lines, high-performance machinery and equipment at the level found in the most modern factories in Europe, capable of producing elements that meet all European standards and national technical regulations in the field. 

The production capacity of the CON-A precast factory for reinforced and prestressed concrete products is 30,000 cubic meters/year, equivalent to 300,000 sqm of fully prefabricated structures. The production for reinforced and prestressed concrete products takes place on an area of 25,000 sqm.

Rebar shaping division

The factory includes a rebar shaping division – centralized processing of reinforced concrete rebars and manufacturing of spatial carcasses for own production from the factory and/or construction sites and merchandising to third parties. 
The average production capacity is 7,000 tons per year. 

Grade II Laboratory

The manufacturing control is organized and certified in accordance with ISO 9001 Standard and Product Standards, and the production conformity is certified in system 2+. The technical staff within the factory ensures and certifies the control at execution phases and finished products. The factory’s analysis and test laboratory complies with the International Standard SR EN ISO/IEC 17025 requirements and applies a quality system in accordance with SR EN ISO 9001 for authorized profiles and tests, specific to the activity: MBM, BBABP, and AR. 

All products made by the Precast concrete structures factory in Mârșa bear the CE marking and have all the necessary product certifications. 

Metal Sheet Processing Factory

The metal sheet processing factory, inaugurated in 2006, produces high-quality metal sheet elements and its activity has continuously expanded. The factori has an average production capacity of 5,500 tons/year. 

Industrial tinsmith division

In the industrial tinsmith division, a wide range of metal sheets is processed, such as: painted steel sheet, galvanized or black sheet, perforated sheet, stainless steel, aluminum, copper with a thickness of up to 2.5 mm and a length of up to 9 meters.

The raw material is profiled on CNC machines, in accordance with the projects and execution orders. With seriousness, professionalism, and efficiency, we respect the quality conditions and execution deadlines. Depending on the role and installation location, we mention a few types of profiles:

From galvanized sheet 

  1. Structural elements for facade, canopies, walls, ceiling, roof (U, C, Z, omega profiles). 
  2. Structural elements for skylight frames, smoke vents, installation voids, void railings. 
  3. Metal formworks for casting beams, columns, bleachers. 
  4. Metal formworks for casting floors, slab, belts. 
  5. Composite metal columns for halls. 
  6. Structural elements for modular containers. 

From painted sheet, various Ral colours 

  1. Attic cap profiles.
  2. Profiles for doors and windows drip, anti-drip, left and right sides.
  3. Profiles for hiding joints.

Aluminium Joinery Division

The Aluminum Joinery Division has distinguished itself through highly complex and diverse works thanks to its policy and ongoing concern to professionally meet the diverse requirements of its clients. Continuous collaboration with architects, structural engineers, suppliers, and manufacturers of the necessary raw materials ensures that the projects completed are of high quality.

The Aluminum Joinery Division executes and installs the following types of systems: 

  • Carpentry (doors and windows) made and installed from the Rehau profile system; 
  • Aluminum joinery, manufactured from Schuco, Alumil, Metra, Reyners profiles; 
  • Curtain wall facades made from aluminum profiles of Schuco, Alumil, Metra, or Reyners; 
  • Skylights from aluminum profiles with solar protection and safety glass; 
  • Internal partitions from Schuco profiles; 
  • Doors with automatic operation using Dorma, Geze, GU operators; 
  • Various glass works (including design) such as: 
    • Partition walls from secured float glass, doors with Dorma hardware; 
    • Stairs from secured glass elements bonded together with EVA safe foil; 
    • Glass balustrades with and without posts; 
    • Wind fangs complete with secured glass with manually or automatically operated doors; 
    • Canopies and roofs from glass; 
    • Glass doors with Dorma hardware; 
    • Fire-resistant doors and partition elements (30 min, 60 min, 90 min) from aluminum, steel and fire-resistant glass profiles;
