CONA is building the new ELMA factory in Timișoara – a landmark project in the Swiss company’s industrial expansion in Eastern Europe.

Today, CONA took part, alongside partners and local authorities, in the groundbreaking ceremony for the new ELMA factory in Timișoara – a major investment in the high-precision industry, carried out by the Swiss company ELMA Electronic AG.

We are proud to be part of this important project, as general contractor, and to contribute to the expansion of a company that is confidently investing in Romania.

The new ELMA factory, with an area of over 12,000 sqm, will become a strategic industrial hub for Central and Eastern Europe. It will produce high-precision technical components used in sectors such as medical, military, telecom, transport, and aerospace, and will create over 140 jobs.
