With an investment of 35 million euros and a total area of over 22,000 m², this modern logistics center stands as a model of sustainable construction, built to European standards of efficiency and quality.
The project integrates state-of-the-art green technologies and solutions, including:
a gas-free heating system, based on heat pumps and waste heat recovery;
photovoltaic panels with an installed capacity of 800 kWp;
smart LED lighting and an energy management system (BMS);
charging stations for electric vehicles.
By the end of 2025, the new logistics hub will serve approximately 50 PENNY stores, expanding to over 100 stores by 2027, significantly improving the company’s national operations efficiency.
Completed in record time, the project once again demonstrates CONA’s strength and capability to deliver durable, efficient, and future-oriented constructions.
Through this achievement, CONA reaffirms its commitment to building high-performance logistics infrastructure grounded in innovation, quality, and sustainability, contributing to the continuous development of the Romanian economy.
