The project involves the relocation and modernization of the Oncology Department of the Alba Iulia County Emergency Hospital, as well as the establishment of an Interventional Cardiology Unit. Specifically, a new building will be constructed, featuring five floors and a helipad, connected by a walkway to the current Oncology Department building, with a total area of 8,076 sqm.
The new hospital will have 100 beds and will include facilities, functions, and flows for continuous hospitalization, day hospitalization, and outpatient care for patients with oncological and interventional cardiology conditions. In addition, the project includes the construction of an outpatient clinic with 4 consultation rooms, 4 treatment rooms, as well as a registration area and related spaces. The building will be equipped with renewable energy sources: photovoltaic/solar panels, HVAC systems with heat recovery, heating and cooling batteries, and a Building Management System (BMS) to optimize energy consumption (HVAC, lighting, and low voltage systems).
